Busy busy busy....

Firstly thank you for my awards! I know I have some things to do in receiving them, it may have to wait till I get back from the snow and have more time up my sleeve, but thank you so much, I'm honoured! :D

So this is the last week for Hypoxi, I finish up on Saturday and will have some results to post.

So I'd increased to 10km on my running, decided to try a 12-13km on the weekend, got to about 12km and thought why the heck would I not try to do an actual 14km (which is what the City 2 Surf is).  So I just did!  So now I've hit that target I'm happier in my mind, especially seeing next week I'll be down the snow, and then the week after that I'm supposed to be tapering my training.  So I know I can do it, I have a nice set of hills and undulations in my course that I run, so I think I'm set.  Just need to pull up good on the day! :D  I found sipping gatorade good, and will down a gel at about the 10km mark to push the last few km home.  Now I just need to figure out what time I need to get to Bondi Junction that will allow me enough time to get the train into the City! urgh I hate public transport!

I was out and about on Saturday and popped into Target, spied a dress I've had my eye on since the beginning of the season, on sale for 15 bucks.... It's a simple grey shift dress (for work) but has these pretty little diamontes around the base of the dress and everytime I see it I just think it's so pretty.  I tried it on when it was full price, the size 14 was a bit too tight, if fit but wouldn't have been comfortably wearable.  That was like 2-3 months ago.  They only had size 12 on the rack I decided to try it on.... it fits.  I could hardly believe it.  I can wear a top under it for winter and as the weather warms up it will be a nice transition dress, heck it has no sleeves it would make a fine summer dress too.  I'm pretty blown away about it but I have been working hard so why shouldn't this be the case! Right?

Three more sleeps and I am officially on holidays.  Six and half more sleeps and I'm on my way to the snow.  I am SOOOO excited and can't wait to have my lesson and get on the slopes.  I've got thermals ready to go, tights, tops (basically my workout gear to use for layers).  I still haven't tried my friends snow suit on (which I'm sure will fit but it's a matter if she remembers to bring it) worst case scenario I hire one, and I have no fear these days that I won't find something that fits, which I did in previous years!

Only 2 weeks to go and I'll be getting my Dexa scan.  So it's all full on right now, I'll be having a nice rest after the C2S, although the week before I will be aiming for a couple of sleep ins to ensure I'm well rested from this manic 4 weeks, C2S training and 4 days at the snow!  My sister has made me promise to take a break after the C2S she's worried I'm overdoing it, I told her that she knew it was this short 4-6 week period that I'd be flat out and then when Hypoxi was finished I could go back to a more regular routine!  So bring on Dexa scan! :D

I think I am just babbling now, so I say have a great day and week all and catch you soon! :D
